The Young Family Reunion!!

19 members of the Young family planned a trip to Mexico with me from Dec 19-27, 2010. We started working on it almost a year in advance and narrowed down the resort to the Hotel Marina El Cid in the Riviera Maya since it worked with all of their budgets and was a resort that I have had great success with in the past!

They had a fantastic time! It was very family friendly which was probably their #1 priority, it had a great beach and the resort was full of activities. They were celebrating their parents 50th anniversary so they wanted a memorable experience- I think they will all agree that they succeeded!

Alicia and Zachs Cabo wedding 2011

Here is a recent wedding I planned for Alicia and Zach in Los Cabos. They were married on March 5, 2011 on a beautiful beach in front of the Riu Sante Fe (one of my favorite hotels in Cabo!) What an amazing view and an unforgettable experience!!

Everything went smoothly and they had a wonderful time- I think they will agree that a destination wedding is stress-free and a perfect way to spend time with friends and family!!

Carlas trip to Disney World

Carla and her family (her husband, mother-in-law and 2 daughters ages 9 and 5) went to Disney in October over MEA weekend. I always ask how my clients rate their overall experience and they rated it a  5 out of 5 (which is exactly what I love to hear!!). Here is some information they provided regarding their trip:

They stayed in a Family Suite at Disneys All-Star Music Resort. They rated the resort a 4 and said that  it was clean, friendly and had everything that they needed. Their kids loved the pool area! The suite had 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a sitting area. They would definitly stay here again.

They took advantage of the Disneys Magical express which provided transfers to the resort and back to the airport . They felt it was quick, easy and very convenient!

They visited all 4 Disney parks and added the dining plan to their package. The dining plan can only be added if you stay at a Disney property and is a great way to get the best Disney experience! There are different plans but their meal plan included 1 counter-service meal, 1 table service meal and 1 snack per day per person and can be used for character dining and dinner shows.  Their favorite restaurant was the Ohana at the Polynesian Resort where they did a character breakfast with Lilo and Stitch. They really liked the dining plan and would definitely do it again!

And lastly, I always ask for comments about their experience working with me. I always try to provide the best customer service I can and its really important for me to know that my clients are happy (or if they are unhappy about anything, how I can fix it!). Here are her comments:

Cabo

My first trip to Cabo was in 2009 and is now my new favorite destination! I absolutely loved Cabo. Its beautiful, clean and picturesque with waters much bluer than I thought they would be. The beaches were amazing, not the white sand but wide and gorgous! We stayed at the Riu Sante Fe which I would recommend to just about anyone. I book it often with a group of girls going in January, 2 couples going at the end of November and beginning of December and a family going in February. I also booked a destination wedding here in March for a group of about 12. Ican truely say that I book this resort in confidence that my clients will love it!

The Riu Sante Fe is a newer resort, built in 2007 so the rooms are clean and updated. Its a fairly large property so it is not for clients who dont like to do a lot of walking. The food was very good with a buffet restaurant and 4 themed restaurants. The pools were amazing and the location was perfect. You can walk the beach into town or take a short cab ride. You can also take a water taxi right in front of the resort to Lovers Beach for the day or watch the ships port not far from the resort. And dont miss a trip to Happy Endings  http://www.happyendingcantina.com/ , a great place to hang out and have a drink or 2!

Disney Trip- April 2010

Here are some photos of our trip to Disney this past April. I love planning Disney trips! I have been to Disney several times and know it well! I always recommend staying on site at one of the Disney properties, especially if it is your first time. There is a lot of information to know about Disney and it can be very confusing. From theme park tickets to meal plans to which resort is the best for you, this is a trip of a liftime let me help you plan it! 

 

 

 

 


 



Family trip to Cancun

We took our kids (ages 5, 7 and 10) to a great family resort in Cancun. The resort that we stayed at was the Crown Paradise and was an excellent choice for families. They had a great kids club and offered tons of activies throughout the day and evening to keep them busy. The beach is amazing and they enjoyed jumping in the waves (but hang on the little ones, the water can get pretty rough!). The rooms were nice but pretty basic and all have a view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend upgrading to the family suite which gives you more room and includes a serperate kids area with a bunk bed and TV. The food was good (our kids especially liked the buffet!) and they offered an adults only French restaurant which my husband and I were able to go to one night while the kids were at the kids club having a campout on the beach! The resort was not too big, easy to get around and the location was very convenient to shopping and tours. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone but especially families that want a lot of activities for the kids and want to right in the hustle and bustle of Cancun!
